A robotic prosthesis is a robotized device in which a part of the body is replaced. You can think of robot hand, robot arm or robot leg.
Robotic hand
Roboth hands have the primary goal of replacing prosthetic hands. These robot hands offer more possibilities where the ultimate goal is to connect the hand with the patient's brain.
Sensors
The prosthesis works by means of pressure sensors that are connected via electrodes to the sensory cortex in the brain. In that part of the brain, impulses from the various senses come in.
