DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus
The Phantom 2 Vision Plus is equipped with the NAZA V2 flight controller and GPS system and will therefore also be extremely easy to operate for novice pilots. When the model hangs in the air, it will float tightly at a position through this advanced GPS system. This is ideal if you want to take some pictures at a certain height.
Battery and navigation
The Phantom 2 Vision Plus comes complete with LiPo, LiPo charger, DJI 2.4Ghz transmitter and receiver. The battery supplied with this model is a 3S 5200mAh LiPo case with which you can stay an impressive 25 to 30 minutes in the air. It is also possible to use a button on the battery to read the voltage based on the number of dashes it displays. With Intelligent Orientation Control, you can make the plane fly in any direction you want without having to take into account which direction the front and back of the plane are facing. The DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus then only assumes its position in relation to the pilot. Thanks to the Failsafe function it is possible to have the quadcopter automatically return to its take-off point if the signal with the transmitter is lost.
Sharp photos and movies
The DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus is direct with a 3-axis gimbal (camera holder). This ensures that images are perfectly stabilized over X, Y and Z axes. The drone has a Full HD camera that can take photos as well as movies. These are stored directly on the supplied 4GB Micro SD card. Photography goes with 14 megapixels. You can use your iPhone or Android smartphone to establish a live image connection with the camera. You can also see various flight data such as speed, altitude, distance, pitch, roll, battery voltage, GPS signal and the number of satellites being received at that moment. The great advantage of this camera is that the photos can be saved in RAW format. The advantage of a RAW-format photo is that the file is not compressed into, for example, a JPEG. All colour information is saved so that there are more options for finishing and you can get the best quality out of your photo. Camera settings including image quality, ISO, exposure compensation, white balance and size can be adjusted via the Vision app!
