LG CLOi SuitBot exoskeleton
During the CES 2019 in Las Vegas, LG Electronics introduces the updated version of the portable CLOi SuitBot. The portable LG CLOi SuitBot supports the lower body and makes lifting and bending less heavy. In the near future, employees will wear exoskeletons to increase their own muscle strength and work with less risk of injury.
New version CLOi SuitBot
The LG CLOi SuitBot supports the waist and increases the muscular strength of the user. This reduces the risk of injury and fatigue when performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting and placing heavy objects. The SuitBot is activated when the wearer bends at an angle of 65 degrees and switches off when standing upright. The robot is fully charged within one hour and can then do its work for 4 hours.
